Overview

Vedic Arena ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is stored, and how you can request access or deletion of your data. By using Vedic Arena, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information depending on how you use the app:

• Firebase Authentication UID: A unique user ID created when you sign in. This is used to identify your account, save your profile, restore your progress, and sync subscription status.
• Name and email address: If you sign in using Google, your Google display name and email address may be used for your profile and account identification.
• Game progress and performance data: We may store your scores, badges, XP, leaderboard records, streaks, selected avatar, and other gameplay progress.
• Subscription and purchase status: If you purchase a subscription or in-app product, we store subscription status, plan type, provider, expiry time, and secure purchase verification data.
• Push notification token: If notification features are enabled, we may store a device notification token to send reminders or app-related notifications.
• Classroom or teacher/student data: If classroom features are used, class codes, teacher-related data, or student participation data may be stored.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your Vedic Arena account.
• To save and restore your game progress across sessions.
• To display leaderboard rankings and gameplay achievements.
• To verify Google Play Billing purchases and subscription status.
• To improve app performance, gameplay experience, and bug fixing.
• To prevent fraud, unauthorized premium access, and misuse of app features.
• To respond to support, privacy, and data deletion requests.

Firebase and Data Storage

Vedic Arena uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud services to run important app features.

• Firebase Authentication: Used for Google sign-in and account authentication.
• Cloud Firestore: Used to store user profile, scores, badges, subscription status, and leaderboard data.
• Firebase Cloud Functions: Used for backend logic such as purchase verification and subscription syncing.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: May be used for push notifications, if enabled.

Firebase data is stored and processed according to Google Firebase and Google Cloud security standards.

Payments and Subscriptions

• All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing.
• Vedic Arena does not collect, store, or process your card number, UPI ID, bank details, or payment credentials.
• Google Play handles payment processing, refunds, cancellations, and billing management.
• When a purchase is made, Google Play provides a secure purchase token. We may verify this token through our backend to confirm whether the purchase or subscription is valid.
• Subscription status may be stored in Firebase Firestore so your premium access can be restored after login or app reinstall.

Advertising and Analytics

• Vedic Arena does not currently show ads in this version.
• If ads are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and Google Play declarations will be updated.
• We may use Firebase or Google services to understand app performance, crashes, and general usage patterns.

Children's Privacy

Vedic Arena is a math learning and practice game that may be used by students and general users. We do not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children.

• The app does not require children to enter a phone number or payment information directly inside the app.
• No direct public chat or messaging feature is provided inside the app.
• Parents or guardians may request deletion of a child’s account-related data by contacting us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data only when necessary for app operation, legal compliance, security, or service providers used by the app.

• Google Firebase and Google Cloud may process data for authentication, database, backend, and notification services.
• Google Play may process purchase and subscription data for billing and subscription management.
• Leaderboard data such as display name and score may be visible to other users inside the app.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect user data, including Firebase Authentication, Firestore Security Rules, and server-side purchase verification. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

Data Retention

• Account and gameplay data may be retained while your account is active.
• Subscription-related records may be retained for billing verification, fraud prevention, and support purposes.
• Some data may remain in backups or logs for a limited period before deletion.

Data Deletion and Your Rights

• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
• To request account deletion and deletion of associated data such as profile, scores, badges, leaderboard records, and subscription records, contact us using the email below.
• We will try to process deletion requests within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.
• You can also clear local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage from Android settings.

Third-Party Services

Vedic Arena may use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, Firestore database, backend functions, and notifications.
• Google Play Billing: In-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Google Sign-In: Optional account login.
• Google Play Services: Android platform, billing, and app distribution services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we may update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
